The Infant/Toddler Child Care Community of Practice Gathering: Building and Communicating Your Vision for Infants, Toddlers, and the Adults in Their Lives will be held from 1:00 p.m. [Eastern Standard Time [EST]) on Wednesday, December 4, through 12:30 p.m. (EST), on Friday, December 6, at the Royal Sonesta Washington DC Dupont Circle. The meeting will be held in the Phillips Ballroom on the lobby level, and it will include plenary sessions and breakouts over 3 days.
This meeting will provide policy guidance, examples, and tools for the meaningful inclusion of infants and toddlers in Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program implementation for partners and intermediaries. In a leadup webinar, participants will be invited to learn more about how infants and toddlers can be considered in CCDF program implementation through data collection, vision- and mission-based decision-making informed by data, and partnerships. In a followup webinar, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about how states, territories, and Tribes are strengthening systems and tracking the impact for infants and toddlers.
This meeting will provide a network experience in which community of practice participants will be able to choose among opportunities to practice communications, create and refine the vision and mission, make use of data, and dive into content-learning in areas related to coaching, relationship-based care, and healing-centered care.
